Misting automation for large collections

I would like to hear from anyone working with automated misting systems for 50 or more enclosures per system. For the purposes of objectivity, I'm going to leave out what I'm using currently. I will say that my biggest frustration and wasted time is spent changing out leaking nozzles and cleaning 2" of water out of several different enclosures each week.

Currently I have 3 separate tropical rooms with automated misting systems that handle around 55 enclosures each. I'm adding 2 more rooms to be automated soon and I'm looking for honest, pros & cons to the system you have experience with. If you can't be frank in this forum, we can chat via email or phone.

I'm looking to add another 70 enclosures and revamp the existing 165, so there is a couple of grand at stake here.

Your direct experience or a referral to someone that does would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

All the best,

Michael

Hey, I have no experience with automation, but am interested in how you've done up your rooms and systems. Do you have any photos you could post of your setups/rooms? I have 16 geckos currently in 12 tanks, and in the next year or so I plan to get more involved and in the coming months a few of my groups should start producing, so I should have lots of babies coming!

I agree that Marty would be a good person for you to talk to as well as asking your questions on some of the various dart frog forums since they use a lot of misting equipment. Mistking has a very good reputation and I know that Marty has put a lot of work into the design of his systems. But I have not used them personally. I keep wiating for him to send me one for Christmas or my birthday. But each year passes and thus far...no such luck :( lol!

I did receive a nice GU calendar this year though!
