Had popped in a petstore for some crickets shortly before Christmas (hungry mouths to feed and all that). While there, one of the staff who knows me by sight asked me if I knew anyone who would be willing to adopt a brown anole. They could not sell the animal because it was paralyzed from the hips back, nor could they return it to the company's supplier. So glutton for punishment that I am, I agreed to adopt it. I think it is female though I'm not certain (if anyone here can tell, please chime in). So here s/he is -- 'Annie" an Anolis sagrei:
