Superworm breeding

Hi, so I have been attempting to breed my own superworms as I was successful with crickets. Now I tried isolating them by themselves with no food and water to get them to turn into pupae. Out of the 6 I started only 2 turned into pupae, with only one hatching and the other looked weird right from the beginning and then died off (however the one that hatched is still alive for over a month now). Now I am thinking that my temps being too during this time could have caused all the problems (I was cooling when I decided to do this, not my best move but I was bored the lizards were all sleeping lol), or is there another method I should try?

Thanks
Dan

Start with a fresh 50 or 100 pack and start again I'm just finishing my first colony 30 beetles outve 35 worms. If you want I can give you a super easy super quick guide or you can always condult your best friend Google :)

When I separate the worms to their individual canisters, I try to make sure that they are Huge! Our first attempt got about 30 beetles out of 100+ worms. So the next attempt of 50 worms, I pulled from the bunch and fed lots of potato slices for a week~then put them in the canisters. I got 50 beetles;I figure, of the first attempt they just weren't large or healthy enough to sustain themselves through the entire "morphing".
