There are these purple bulbs that are supposed to simulate moonlight and stimulate breeding. I've had my trio of adults (Giles, Galadriel, and Druscilla) together for about a week. Nothing. On a whim I decided to move them into an empty 10 gallon and put a 15 watt bulb over them. Well, Giles tail started doing the rattle snake shake within a couple minutes... and you can imagine the rest. Giles is 100% het for Amel, and Druscilla is a possible Het for Amel. So I could get a couple Amel babies this season. Tara is het for Amel, but she's too little still. She should be ready by next season.

It happens very often than a change of enclosure triggers breeding. It is not necessarily linked to the lamps ;)
