Mexican Black King Snake.

Hey guys, I was just wondering if anyone here knew if Mexican Black King Snakes were good beginner snakes?

If not, what are some other good beginner snakes? I know corn snakes, so that's one. :)

LOL....... I am pretty sure they are. I have a friend that has one thats gravid right now....we are just waiting for her to drop those eggs!

Ah, that's awesome! I was really hoping, because I think they're gorgeous, but I wouldn't want to get a pet I can't handle.

Are they on this site? If they are you should get them to post pictures when it happens, I'd love to see the snakes! :)

Nope they are on the other site we talked about, the local one.

I have my name on one of them cause I agree they are stunning.

OK heard back from a friend and she says they are good starter snakes, they can just be a bit nippy when they are young but calm down as they get older.

That's amazing! Let me know how it goes for you. :)

Maybe when I decide to get one I'll see if I can get an older one then, or I'll just take the nipping with a grain of salt. I'm sure it will be cute enough that it will make up for it. ;)
