Lighting/ Thermostat question

I wasn't sure where to post this as its more of a general question than anything. I was curious as to how much increase of temperature you would recieve from your light if you had it hooked up to a thermostat. Would it be like a 5 degree increase or what? Just curious if it is worth the investment and would it increase heat from my bulbs and UTH.

A thermostat isn't going to increase the power of any heating device. It's job is simply to control and maintain the proper level of heat produced.

Is there anyway to increase the heat out put? or is it better just to buy a higher wattage light.
