I have a crested gecko baby. The petstore I bought him from did not have any CGD, and raised him only on crickets. I have found one petstore around me that carries CGD, and I will get it later. For right now I bought some pear baby food, can I feed him this? How do I suspend his food in mid air? Can he eat off the ground if I cannot suspend his food?

I would not use baby food. It's more harmful than helpful. Since he's a baby and needs all the nutrients as possible I'd go grab maybe 10 small crickets and use those. Even though babies can be raised in cgd I prefer to keep my babies on a mix of crix and cgd. This gives them as much protein as they want to grow on.

Just got some CGD. He was licking it off my finger, hopefully he notices the cap I put in his tank and eats it

I use the caps from juice or gatorade bottles for my little cresties and they work fine. just put a little dab in the middle of the cap; they don't eat very much. it needs to be changed pretty frequently; I switch mine out about every other day.

I agree that crickets are good too, but make sure you gutload them properly. if he's used to eating crickets, he might not take much of his CGD, especially at first, and it's very important to make sure he's getting the right supplementation while he's growing.
