New user -- 15g "natural" setup

Hey everyone, this is my first post. I'm looking to pick up a leopard gecko or two in the coming months so I decided to take my newly vacant 15g tank and put together a more natural looking enclosure.

I started by taking some "almond" silicone caulk to coat the bottom, back, and sides of the tank (the bottom was eventually removed). Initially I intended on using some calcium sand for the substrate, however after reading about leo's tendencies for eating sand and the fact that they really don't have much sand in their native habitat, I decided to go with some ceramic tiles instead. I used liquid nails to secure the tiles to the bottom of the tank, then used a silicone grout-like product to fill in the gaps.

Hope you enjoy, and I am always open to some constructive criticism.

It is, of course, still a work in progress. I'm looking for some ideas on fake plants to spice things up a bit.

It looks pretty good, only thing I'd suggest is somehow bonding those top pieces of slate together. Im super paranoid when it comes to my pets and would be afraid of a piece falling and crushing my leo

Thanks for the tip. I actually thought about that myself but the stones are VERY secure and would take a lot to knock anything off. What I might do is put a little bit of Liquid Nails on the far right piece of stone and glue it to the side of the tank just to make sure it doesn't fall over. I'd be hesitant to glue everything together because that would make it impossible to clean the cage.

I'm definitely going to add a few more things. Actually, I've got a humid hide ready that isn't pictured, and I'll try to add another hide on the right side of the tank.

That tank is going to be a backup, though. I picked up a 40 gallon tank that I'm working on right now. I've got some insulation foam that will be used for a background and some caves.
