I have a SS het temper f gecko that I got from a expo about 5 months ago. At first she was doing really well eating and pooing normally. But in the last month she has been losting weight, I notice that the mealworms I try to feed her turn to beetles so she's not eating them. She has lost weight and doesnt move a whole lot. I tried to feed her small crickes also but she isn't eating them either. She still sheds though, but every time I have to help her bc she doesnt get the skin by her feet and it will start to cut off her circulation. I have two other geckos that are perfectly healthy. This one I just can't seem to figure out what is wrong. She isn't really any bigger than when I bought her. What could be wrong and what else can I try to make her grow?

Have you taken her to the vet? If not it will be best to have her examined since she is losing weight. Take a stool sample to be tested for parasites. Here feces look completely normal? solid? urates white or yellowish?

Parasites are harbored in reptiles. Problems can begin when the reptile is under stress or temperatures being to cold which will cause the parasites to flourish. It will be a huge help if you filled out the questionnaire XO has provided.

I also read somewhere that they can get parasites from bugs eating their poo and then they digest the bugs.
They need a varied diet as from what I am learning solely eating mealworms can cause impaction. Try some phoenixworms or silk worms. They are easier to digest then mealies an crickets.
Its a good sign that she has normal poop.
