Hey guys I am new here and a new leopard gecko mommy!!

I have a quick question: how soon can I really start handeling my leo after getting her? I just got her today and dont want to frighten her!

Thanks I will be sure to leave her be for about a week. Although it will be very hard to resist holding her :D

Anyone know the morph? Or is she just a normal leopard gecko?

Welcome to GU.
It's recommended that you wait two weeks before starting to handle. I know it may be difficult, but it's best for the animal that it has minimal stress while it adjusts to it's new home. Too much stress will cause it to not eat and what's worse, not being able to handle it or having him not eat due to stress?

Thanks alot! The last thing I want to do is stress my Riley out so as hard as it may be I wont handle her for a while. :biggrin: thanks again

Thanks guys! I have one more question: Do you think she is gonna be spotted or stay striped? Sorry im new to geckos and morphs and all of that!

I would think that they would stay the same color that they were born as, but I know nothing about leopard geckos, so don't take my word for it.
