Custom Hexagon

Hey guys, just got this beautiful 4 ft. hexagon as a birthday present from Jason Perillo at Protean Terrarium Designs. Any recommendations for construction? I'm considering constructing a tree buttress from foam and having that as the centerpiece. I will hollow the tree buttress out and fill it with soil and have a ficus sprouting out the top. As for species i'm considering either P. Klemmeri or L. williamsi. I'd like to have a tree frog species mixed but that depends on how the terrarium turns out. The first foot will be for drainage/soil.

I thought Protean was based out of Portland OR? Did he ship it to you??

That is a good size, there will be a lot of space in there. The ficus will love it too.

Jason has a booth at the Hamburg show and crashes at my place when the show comes around. I'm currently living an hour south of Hamburg.

Dude that tank is sweet. Lots of options; your considering a vertical hollow fake tree with a ficus in it right? that sounds pretty sweet to me, with like branches coming out all over making it look real that would be awesome!!
