55 gallon screen top help

I have a 55 gallon that was an aquarium and looking for a screen top but hesitant to buy one because it has a divider in the middle. Any suggetions?

Can't you just take the divider out?

It's the actual frame of the tank. I suppose I could cut it out but that's last resortness lol

If the tank isn't going to hold water anymore, I don't think it will make that much of a difference.

Make sure the screen top has some way to latch it closed. Tokay are quite strong as well as smart and good at escaping. Personally, I'd take that 55 gallon tank and turn it upright and make it a vertical conversion. That would make for some very happy tokay to have all of that vert space.

How many Tokay you think u can put in a 55?

1 or 2. Keep in mind that tokay get quite large, utilize quite a bit of space, and are very territorial. They simple don't do well in groups unless you have a very large enclosure.

Male female should be fine though right?

THey should be. But do keep an eye on them when first introducing them. Just because they *should* get along ok doesn't mean that it's always so.
