Hey guys,

This is my N.amyae female. I weighed her moments ago and she's at 27g. Question, do these geckos have "growth spurts" around a certain age? I believe she's almost a year old (around 10-11 months) with a hatch date of around July-August of 2011. Is she small for her age? She eats amazingly so if she is small it could easily be remedied.

Best,
Matt

Your gecko at a decent weight. I did a quick search, and found geckos ranging from 23 to 39 grams from 2011. I know rhacs have large growth spurts, but my wheeleri have had the tendency to grow at a fairly steady pace. Feeding a varied diet does help in my opinion. I feed wax worms, butter worms, crickets and roaches(preferably newly molted).
