So I usually get books on things I keep, but I haven't been able to find a REALLY good Leopard Gecko book...similar to the Rhacodactylus "Bible". Anyone know of a good book about leopard geckos?

I have read leo books from different authors but the problem is they all have something that I don't think is right. Like in one book the temperatures are too low and another book don't have much info besides all the basic stuff we already know. I would sometimes stand in the petstore and read the books, lol because all the ones I read were crappy. Some books even have the info that the petstore gives.

Kind of amazing how there are so many crappy books about leopard geckos, yet they're one of the most popular reptiles to keep. You would think that there would be at least one good book. lol

I've seen several that don't even mention calcium supplements....a few suggesting sand for even the babies....one even mentioned the "necessary UVB". *sigh*

The Herpetoculture of Leopard Geckos is the Bible. Tremper and Vosjoli are the author's. It's out of print and hard to find a copy, but its worth it if you can get a hold of one.

Here's a supposedly good book, I haven't bought it though.
The Leopard Gecko Manual. 1998. Authors: Philippe de Vosjoli, Roger Klingenberg, Ron Tremper, and Brian Viets. Publisher: Advanced Vivarium Systems, Inc. 85 pp.

I'd stay away from Leopard Geckos for Dummies. I bought it only to be very underwhelmed.
