my pair of standing are very dark in colour, they were vivid this time last year. The humidity is at around 60% day temp 80 with a drop to just over 70 at night. the viv is pretty frickin huge with about four different hides, the same viv they have been in for the past three years.they have only been dark for about six months and they have always been a pair. They get bugs once a week and fresh fruit constantly on offer. They wont eat it when its all mashed up. Fresh water daily also. They are always bounding about, eating pooing fine and basking all day long. Anybody got any ideas as to what's happened to there colour? and how on earth to get it back? i moved them six months ago that,s why they lost there colour, so moved em back to original spot 4 months ago but colour hasnt returned.

Stress. Temperature. Humidity. Those are my top guesses. I'm actually leaning toward humidity the most. I've read that too much humidity(and wetness) can be harmful to them.

Do you have any warmer basking spots? Low 80's for overall is great but they need a hot spot too incase they feel cold.

And stress-I just moved all of my geckos to a new room+ rearranged the enclosures. I have one pair that has stopped laying eggs since the move. I've read a lot about stress being the cause of a lot of behavior changes.

Hope this helps.
