So, my male WON'T stop chirping. All night long. I suppose that's a sign of good health??? Maybe he's just horny. I have him in a second bedroom in a closet on another floor in his terrarium (well fed, lit and watered.) He killed the female. Wouldn't let her eat :( Wondering what I should do about the noise? I bought him off a local breeder that said he never even attempted to mate with any of the 3 females he had in there with him, but now he won't shut up... It's cute, but what can/should I do about it/ if I need to do anything about it? In San Diego.

Chirping

You could try changing the temp and humidity to what the weather conditions would be for the non breeding season. Does he have a day night cycle or is he in the dark all the time? Is he a Tokay and doing is call?

I leave the door to the closet open. There are windows. He is on a normal cycle. it has been very hot here though... Even when I turn off his lamp at night, it's still pretty warm. I guess Ill just have to work through it :) ?
