Uroplatus aff. henkeli/female???

The guy who sold me the female henkeli that turned out to be a male aff. henkeli sent me pictures of the other one. He said he would trade straight up for the "girl" or if I bought her too it would be discounted. I just wanted to post the photos here to see what you all thought.
I am glad the guy is being very good about the mishap.

And here is an updated picture of my boy. He is doing great and growing. I have a 36x30x18inch (height x length x width) tank waiting for him. I will get better photos of him later.

The pics definately look female. The male that you have shows the arrow pattern and striping on the head that is indicative of a male. The spotty looking body was most likely the issue that caused sexing problems. I'm glad to see that the seller is cooperating.

Cool I thought so too but just wanted to make sure. Before I pick her up I will definitely check the inside of her mouth as well. I just wish I would have picked them up together so I don’t have to go through all this hassle…how are your affs doing and how many do you have?

My affs are doing great. I have 12 at the moment and eggs in the incubator. It sounds like you couldn't bring yourself to trade back the male... I can't blame you.

If Aff. Henks are like U. Henks, then the first pics are female and the last one is definitely male. There are body type differences as well as pattern differences. Patterns can be confusing but so far IMO body type differences are 100%.

Are the animals from the same pair?

I'm inclined to agree, the photos of the new prospect appear female. I've hatched out a few that look very similar and have an adult female that appears similar as well. The hatchlings, however, are still too young to show any bulge, so I'm reluctant to say I'm sure of it.

Leaftails are so cool and he is awesome. I don't think I would ever trade back a Uro. The girl is the same girl from the show, just was mixed up. I am still waiting on hatch date and who bred them. They are supposed to be unrelated. I will keep you all updated and will post pictures of there tank once it is completed.
