Question regarding C. Angulifer

I have the rare opportunity to purchase two of these geckos from a local store. They have one of each ssp. (Chondrodactylus angulifer namibiensis & Chondrodactylus angulifer anguilfer) My questions are fairly simple, but I want to make sure that I'm not letting my want for these guys get the better of me.

First, is the price. They want 300 a piece. They are both full grown males. As I could only find two references, which was a pet quality male for 90, and a young pair for 750 some time ago, I'm unsure if this is a good price for them.

Second, if I do choose to get one or both of these guys, does anyone have an idea as to how difficult it will be to find a mate for them? I plan on getting them as display animals since they look so cool, but I do enjoy breeding oddball geckos, and these are most definitely in the category.

Any help would be appreciated.

Well, nobody has answered, and it still a fairly new post, so I'll give you an answer. If they are adult males, yes it is a fair price. Especially if one truly is Chondrodactylus a. namibiensis. I would snap those up, or just the C. a. namibiensis if you can.

MonitorKing, Thanks a lot for the answer. I did purchase one. The Angulifer Angulifer. And I have been able to work out the basis on a deal for another pair of pure Angulifer. I am real tempted to get the Namibiensis, but I do not think I will be able to find a mate. Look at my new thread for pics of the Angulifer.

Alright awesome. Could you send me a pic of the C. a. namibiensis? If it is a true C. a. namibiensis, and not just a weird C. a. angulifer, you'd definitely want to get it. I could help you track down a mate for it if you got it.
