Shedding twice in 3 weeks? **Pics**

This is my "male" Phelsuma Grandis. Just about 2 1/2 weeks ago he shed and there was still some left on his back and tale. Then I was on my computer and I hear this scratching noise and I was surprise to see him shed yet again but this time it looks grey and not white. Is this normal? Any help appreciated!

P.S.

I did search on the forums if anyone posted similar to this and I couldn't find anything.

Sheds in quick succession appear to be associated with unhappy, sick or old geckos. Check your temps, humidity and diet. Add a couple of drops of olive oil to his fruit mixture..Lipids are important in the shedding process

Hey thanks for the response. The humidity is at 50% when I'm away from home and I turn on the humidifier so the humidity reaches at least 85-90% along with the temp reaching 90 degrees. I feed them crickets 2 times a week sometimes 3. I feed them mostly repashy crested gecko diet mixed with REP-Cal multi-vitamins. They're getting really well. Prior to this shed, he still had some left on his back and now its completely gone. He's definitely not an old gecko. He's about 8 months old.

Healthy sheds should usually appear quite white and come off rapidly, in the pic it looks like he has some old shed stuck on him as well. Is it a live vivarium? If so, I only mist twice daily and have- so far- avoided shedding problems with my giants. Although everything you have said in terms of care sound good, those zoomed temp/humidity gauges are not always reliable, I would suggest perhaps using another instrument to ensure they are in fact correct. Best of luck!
