But none of the techniques worked. i tried rubbing the side of their mouth. that didnt work. i tried holding them inbetweeen my index finger and thumb but they just wound not open.
any other ideas on how to check the calcium sacs ??????

you can carefully - VERY carefully! - wedge the side of a soft silicone or rubber spatula against the jaw and usually they will get irritated and bite at the spatula, allowing you to see inside. don't be forceful at all; if you injure the tissues the wounds can be susceptible to mouthrot, etc.

if they are getting the proper nutrition and aren't being heavily bred, you shouldn't need to worry about the sacs; they will be there. do you have females you are intending to breed?

Agree^.

I've talked to many people, mostly breeders, about checking calcium sacs, and none of them even bother checking their males or non-breeding females as their sacs should be just fine, assuming they're getting proper nutrition. Only if they suspect a calcium deficiency will they even bother. It can be quite stressful on some geckos to check for them, so they'll just leave them be.
