My new leo :)

Thought I'd post some pictures of him. He is dehydrated and needs to gain some weight, but these were issues incurred during previous ownership that I am working to correct. Just thought he needed to make his entrance :) His name is Randall. I'm also working on socializing him more. I had to take him out today because I had to check for leftover shed, so I figured it was a good opportunity to snap some pictures. He was a little squirmy but soon settled down quite a lot. He's young though so he will be squirmy :) He's a Tremper Albino and I think he's quite a handsome little guy! I can't wait to watch him grow. I say "he" because I can't yet be sure what his sex is. My guesstimate is 4 months old? My friend told me that he got him for his birthday, which was in August, and I'm almost 100% sure he got him from a petstore (because we live in Northern Wisconsin, and there are almost no reptile breeders here). Any other thoughts?

Edit: I just asked my friend when he got the little guy, he said last year in August... that just seems ridiculous to me, how small he is. I think maybe he is stunted. Do you think he will reach full adult size, ever?

Whoa he is a year and a half? He looks like my Leo when she was a 3 month old. (She is about 6 months old now and is growing every week)

I think he could have been "stunted" due to not much nutrition in his "baby months" Or he could be the runt of the hatchlings.

Yeah, he didn't have a humid hide and was also being fed mealworms, which may not have been appropriate for him personally. I don't think they were gut loaded either. Just general kind of mediocre care, I think. He could have been a runt but I highly believe that he is stunted.

You think he'll grow at all? :)

Haha okay, just one more... he's just adorable :) I was sooo happy to see that he wasn't wriggling away from me when I took him out of his cage to change the substrate. He loves getting stroked gently on the head :)

He is really really super cute! I love albinos, I have 2 albinos
I hope he plumps up quickly, his tail is pretty skinny.
I would get some silkworms/phoenix worms/butter worms. they are great at fattening up geckos.
You might consider once a week administering this
dynimage.ms

It couldnt hurt to make a trip to the vet to get a fecal test to check for parasites, they are pretty cheap and you might be able to get a peace of mind knowing he is healthy but just malnourished. Is he lethargic? Is he eating well?
What is his name?

His name is Randall. He is somewhat lethargic. He is dehydrated so I took a q-tip and put some droplets of water on his nose, he didn't really do much about that, so I put some droplets on the wall of the tank and he licked one or two of those up. I put a couple other droplets next to him to see if he'd lick those up but he really doesn't seem like he wants anything to do with it.

I fed him two crickets yesterday but figured it couldn't hurt to get him to try and eat another one or two. When I place the cricket in front of him his eyes get all wide, like he does want to eat it, but then he gives up after taking a tiny nibble of an antenna or something, or doesn't seem interested at all. I pinched the legs off of them so it's harder for them to move around, and he tried a rather apathetic grab at one, but didn't get it.

He is moving around his cage but really his primary interest is being warm. He lays on the warm side of his tank almost all the time, or in his humid hide. He does get up and move around though. A majority of his time is spent "resting", but then again I've only observed him in daytime, and once (sunday morning) at 5AM, when he was shedding, so I can't say I have a good observation of him normally when he's most active.
