also interesting to see that behavior

I've never seen it, so thanks for sharing. :)

I love this species the more I see/hear about it. Now that is when Tokay aggression pays off! And considering the war wounds I've seen on some people from their Tokays, I can only imagine how uncomfortable it was for the snake. Very cool!

yes, I love that video :) thanks for the repost!

nakosd, you'd be amazed how well snakes can climb! Justin Julander went to Oz a few years ago and took and amazing video of a Green Tree Python climbing a very tall tree.

It is a repost, but a classic, and I'm sure there's plenty that haven't seen it.

You know I was thinking "I'm pulling a NOOB move here without doing a search here first".

And I did it anyway :loser: <<<no face palm smilies so I get a loser one.

So for the sake of continuing my :loser: streak, is this pair possibly 1:1 and in some way actually defending the other? Or am I imparting a bit more humanity on the geckos?

I'm off to actually search now....

no, that's very likely. Tokays have the ability to form extremely strong pair-bonds. they're quite intelligent geckos.
