Apologies for all these photos... I think I might have got a bit carried away!

Some of 2012's finiavana hatchlings. Most of the younger ones have been males, but I particularly nice ones I think.
These photos do not do justice to the colours and patterns!

The female above and the following female (holdback from last year) will form part of a fresh breeding group of finiavana for me. Still can't get over this female...:

It was a reasonably good year. The first half of the hatchling season was almost all female finiavana, and the second half was almost all males, which I found quite interesting!

I had the same experience with lineatus last year. In my case I think they were incubated a bit warmer in the second part of the season. This year I'm going to try to keep the incubationtemps more or less the same in spring and summer.
