Escaped Goniurosaurus - where to search?

Hello!
Sadly, my female Goniurosaurus lichtenfelderi has escaped yesterday. I've searched the whole room, and the other rooms close it. I have set some hiding places in dark places, I hope she will use one of them, so I can find her tomorrow morning. But I don't see much chance for that, so maybe you can help me out:
-Where to look for them? As they are cave geckos, they don't really like warm places (or do they?)?
-Did this happen to somebody before? Do they go far away from their terrarium?
Any other tips?
Thanks for your help!

Every animal acts differently once it has escaped. I have had leopard geckos get out and end up under heat boards and piles of clothing, I had a crested gecko living in a drop ceiling in my basement for 3 months. I've had snakes get out and end up in the other side of my house, to the dismay of my tenant at the time. It will look to hide somewhere which is around room temperature, or slightly warmer, and dark.
Good luck with finding her.

With leos it would be easier, because i just place some hiding places with much food (they love their stomach) under the radiator and other warm places. But because cave geckos don't really like warm places, this is a differenct story :?

Still, dark, possibly damp? places. Bathroom is a good place to look. Every snake I have ever lost went to the bathroom, or close to. The geckos stayed put a lot more. They just tend to be harder to find. I would go room to room. Remove everything, search thoroughly, replace everything, repeat.

Thank you for your reply. Some hours ago, in the morning we found the gecko! :)

Some help for others: I found her under the regal, 3 meters away from her terrarium. I put her favourite hiding place under the regal, because it is nice dark there, and when I looked under it today morning, I saw something running away. So I knew where she headed, and after 5 minutes, she was back to her terrarium. Thank you for your help!
