Heating and lighting for my gecko?

I have a leopard gecko, he has a 75 watt day light. its about 83 degrees farenheit. I've been told this isn't warm enough for his warm side, what are some ways I can get it warmer? A different wattage of bulb?

Two people already told you that UTH would be the best way to go in your other thread asking for suggestions. You could go for a higher wattage bulb, but a UTH would be best.
