Well so far my gecko has been doing very well ( knock on wood!) i gave her 2 large crickets the other day dusted with calcium/vitamin d3 combined and ate them with no problem whats so ever, today i fed her 3 good sizes crickets un dusted and again no problem eating. shes actually a good hunter lol, and a mealworm straight from her dish. I was reading other threads and i saw that vitamin A supplements given to leos actually do help with shedding. I was wondering what types of powders should i get with vitamin a that i should include with the normal feedings. please leave a comment, thank you

Check the ingredients in the powders and make sure it has vitamin A, not Beta Carotene. It seems a lot of people on this forum are against beta carotene due to the conflicting research as to if Leo's can properly convert it to Vit A or not.

Strange. I just started using the gut load rEcipe from the main guide on gut loading. It uses paprika for beta carotene.

Well as I have said there is a lot of conflicting reports about Beta Carotene. While I use one supplement with Beta Carotene in it, I also have another that has pure vitamin A in it as well just to play it safe. They can't OD on Beta Carotene.
