I am not super experienced having only had one Leo for the last 5 months, however since no one else has answered your question yet, I will attempt to help.
Most likely no. It would greatly help PREVENT stuck shed in the first place, but it will not get rid of it now that it is stuck already.

Also, when my gecko got stuff stuck in his eye, I used artificial tears in his eyes. I would hold him carefully, turn his head sideways, then carefully squeeze a drop into his open eye--if you miss, then just try again--then I would let it sit there for a few minutes so that it can soak, and then carefully, carefully, carefully swab his eye with a cotton swab. If it didn't get it the first time, then I would just try again.
It is really time consuming, but totally worth it to keep your gecko's eyes clear and working properly.
