PVC hide diamteter?

Was looking at Ethan's home PVC hides but it doesn't state the diameter wonder how big the should be for adult tokays

I think I use the 2" diameter tubing for my snake/gecko hides.

I use a variety of sizes. Usually whatever I happen to find kickin' around in my garage. Probably anything over 2" diameter is fine. Do remember that they feel more secure in a tight spot, but it's also harder to get them out if need be.

I gave my girl a 4" piece, about 12" long, when she upgraded to her "adult" tank. she likes it. I don't think I'd go any bigger for sure, though.

Split the PVC lengthwise and use those tiny rare earth magnets to hold the halves together, it takes 8 to hold one tube together very securely.

I'll have to see if I can get a picture or two of how I do it, its pretty simple.

Otherwise your left with prodding them out with a stick or similar utensil.

I'd really like to see that when you get a chance Maurice. Sounds like something that could be incorporated into bamboo tubes as well. Please post up some pics when you have a chance.
