As if I needed another issue now one of my leopard geckos refuses to eat he just won't...he has been having an eye issue that I was given ointment for by the vet and it is getting better. Because he has been having his eye issue he wasn't eating meal worms or crickets so I was giving him a slurry just made up with the crested gecko diet but the vet didn't seem too fond of that since he is not a crested gecko I have some carnivore care that I am using for another gecko of mine and figured hey they use this for geckos that aren't eating their normal diet so what the hey we will try this was going good for awhile and now he just won't eat anything. I do not want him to end up like my gecko that is super skinny and in her "hospital" tank. Any advice or suggestions??

Can you take a picture of the gecko so that we can see his/her body condition? Age? Sex? Picture of enclosure will be helpful as well.

I still maintain a juvenile gecko should be separated. You also said you get another gecko after you had the first two and added her to the enclosure apparently without a quarantine period, which is a concern.

So you have this leo housed with another? I suggest you separate them asap to rule out the possibility. There's a chance this is the reason the gecko stopped eating to begin with. Just remember that some geckos may be reluctant to eat for a few days when moved to a new enclosure. Once you move him allow 2 days without offering the Carnivore care and then try to offer a cricket at a time until he gives in.

yeah he is housed with a girl and has been since before we got him he never had an issue eating up until he got his issue eye...but separating them is worth a try
