Hi all

New to the forum,i would like to know if you can use a infra red bulb at night for heat if it will disturb there night time?
Got my self two breeding pairs the one cage with the young pair(not ready for breeding yet)i wanna keep warm a bit at night cause the temp is dropping a bit.
My other pair i use no heat at night cause the female is carrying eggs at the moment and i know you must give a cool period for breeding.Hope i'm doing ok

Any Help would be grate for some pointers on these amazing gecko's

Regard
Gaintgecko:)

Using a light source of any color will affect the geckos. I recommend either using an under the tank heater stuck to the side of the enclosure or using a ceramic heat emitter (a ceramic bulb that goes into a light fixture and produces heat, but no light).
