Just a quick pic that I snapped of the newest patternless BGY tokay baby. He has some color starting to come in. No yellow so far, but I think he's going to color up with age. He's growing quickly. His all white tail is starting to get some green it now.

Just another update pic of this guy from this morning. His all white tail is fading into green now and his colors are becoming much more distinct. Hopefully his parents high yellow coloration will come in in the near future...

Looking very cool. Can you keep updating photo`s please, would really like to see the changes he makes.

I`am new to Tokay`s, not seen much in variations tbh. I do know that the one i have, wont` be the only one :)

Thanks Aimee, he kind of hit a little growth spurt with the warmer temps the past few weeks. He definitely went' from looking like a hatchling to looking like a juvie in the time between these two pics. .

And cor8et, I'll certainly keep updating pics. The parents of this kid both have yellow feet and legs, So, I'm hopeful that not only will that trait continue, but perhaps also even increase some. We'll have to wait and see.

Yeah, the patternless blue-headed green is a simple recessive morph. It remains to be seen if the high yellow in the group I have will be so as well.

It will be interesting to see but I'd bet the yellow feet will pass on. Your group were the nicest of those imports with yellow feet and knees. I suspect the whole group was harvested at the same time and locale as they came all in the same import group and we've never seen them since.

Enjoy!

Well, welcome to our corner of the forums where you can find lots about Tokay. Take a look through the Sticky on Tokay morphs to see several variations of this interesting gecko.

Al the best,
