Princes Lil has made a full recovery she is already up to 38-grams now and is vigorously eating 7 crickets in one feeding. if she keeps this up she should grow and be just right as rain. The vet i took her too was worth his weight in gold

Congrats on your gecko's recovery. Although the best part the vet did for you, was to have you hand feed the gecko slurry. That's a common practice to help a gecko recover from an illness. It does not however, rule out health issues that caused the gecko to be at such a bad weight and have such a slow growth.

While the gecko could've had a respiratory infection, it does not explain why it grew so slow and was not gaining weight properly. But +1 on the slurry, it has done wonders for many leopard geckos.

Yeah I'm not sure what caused her to grow slowly either, she was extremely small when I got her and the other geckos from there previous owner. I think a lot of it was there was three gecko's housed together and unfortunately she was the smallest. I am a sure was probably bullied and wasn't getting to eat, and have a chance at the warm hide. Since I got them all I separated her so she could hopefully catch up if not at least just be healthy and stress free.
She did have uri, but I think it was a snowball effect from other factors, aka previous owner poor husbandry. Three gecko's I don't should have been housed together, and her especially he should have noticed her growth rate being extremely different from the other two. They where kept on sand. Well you get the picture it just wasn't the best scenario for her. But now she has everything she needs and is showing positive effects from that.
