Hello I have 2 Leo's. One I got when I was 9 and she is now a healthy, fat 11 yr old. My other guy, Reptar, was given to me by a friend because he was dumped at her job. Not sure how old he is but he's pretty small. He sheds once a week and never takes his own shed off. I have a humid hide, a cool side and a warm side. I'm not doing anything wrong yet he still does not take his shed off. I soak him in Luke warm water and remove the shed gently. I always make sure it's off his toes. Yesterday, he had his eyes covered so I gently with a wet q tip, removed the shed from one eye and then the next eye. To my horror one of his eyes was white. At first I thought he was blind but he immediately started licking it and then I realized it was puss. I've been doing saline drops all day and it's starting to look better! What else can I do? Is shedding frequently normal? If it doesn't clear up completely tmrw I'm taking him to the vet. Just wanted to know if there's anything else I can do! He's eating well and overall acting normal but I'm really worried about the eye. Thank you
