male scent on my females pebbles.

my poor girl! I cleaned her cage and then tossed in some left over rocks from my males cage. She is really upset and hides and whips her tail. I really dont want to redo the cage again. Will she get used to it? She did not like him a few years ago when i tried to mate them.

If she doesn't like him, there's a chance she'll never like him, or any other male geckos. Some females are like that, I have one like that in my collection. There's not much you can do. You best clean the tank out so she can be stress-free. Stress is hard on their health.

If you are looking to reintroduce them again in the future, try using a neutral environment. Get a 32qt bin, or another small tank, so you can put them both in a neutral area when introducing. This way you won't have to worry about freaking out the female by putting the male in her tank, in her living space, and have the leftover scent stress her out.
