how are you measuring the humidity? usually a good heavy misting in the evening is plenty.

lots of plants are a good thing. a gecko that can hide from you will feel much more secure. also, it can take a few weeks for a new gecko to settle into a new home and feel safe enough to eat.

can you post a picture of her cage?

well, what is the humidity range during the day, then? if you have a probe you should know whether you're misting correctly.

that's quite high.
most crestie people agree that an evening bump of 70-80 is great, and let it drop down to quite low before misting again. especially if you have live plants, a naturalistic terrarium doesn't usually need to be misted more than once a day.

if you use any sort of paper for substrate, or you live in an unusually dry place, you might have to mist twice a day...but a constant humidity of 80% won't be good for the gecko.

this is a good caresheet.

that isn't big enough for an adult, but is fine for a baby. be prepared to upgrade within a year, possibly less.

I'm always glad if I can help :) you'll have to show us some pics of your little gecko sometime?
