So today I realized I am almost out of rephasy for my crested geckos, im waiting for a 1lb bag of it in the mail. It should be here in less then a week.. If I end up running out what should I feed them?

gut-loaded and dusted crickets would be my option, plus a little bit of minced fruit (mango, banana, berry, peach or nectarine are all good).

Soo many people say crickets and my herp people say avoid crickets! Im confused! I usually feed CGD and the occassional Dubia roach. For my next feeding i thinking im going to put some banana into the CGD.

what do you mean, "your" herp people?

crickets are just fine, as long as you gutload and dust them. the danger with crickets is generally for "newer" gecko owners who don't realize that they need extra nutrition to be good for the gecko.

They warn me against crickets due to pinworms. But honestly id rather feed dubia's becuase they cant climb or jump lol

eh, don't buy your crickets from a filthy pet store. that goes without saying, lol.

I like dubias because they don't smell bad, they don't die in a few weeks, and you don't have to dust them. but, if he just needs to bridge the gap for a few days til his CGD comes, crickets are probably much easier to find.

You don't have to dust dubia? Is this because they don't have a high phosphorus level? I can't wait to get out of FL...I hate not being able to feed dubia!
