The colors on this juvie are really starting to come through now and the yellow feet/knees are starting to show well. I'm pretty sure that it's a male, which is good, because I have a couple of blue/green/yellow females that are unrelated to him that I can breed him to next season. It's going to be cool to see if I can get the yellow to increase through the next few generations.
In any case, I think his colors are looking fantastic...

They hatch with the patternless aspect being visual, but the yellow feet and blue head seem to take a few months to really start to show and be more of a progressive thing. Of course, it can be rather hard to tell exactly when these things take place due to the tokays ability to change colors fairly radically. These guys can often look dark purple or solid green at times as well depending on mood, temps, etc.
