African velvet gecko care and mite ridding

Hey guys im new to the forum and I need help I just got a velvet gecko at an expo.At the the time he looked perfect now at the time i can see that he has mites all over i got rid of most of them on his body but i cant get rid of the ones on his eyes they wont come off and my q-tips cant reach them and i need some help on the care what substrate and what encloser should i use and any additional info will be greatly appreciated i really dont want to lose this guy

Post a pic of the gecko. There's quite a few that are called velvet geckos. A lone gecko could likely be kept in a 10 gallon or similarly sized tank Dirt substrate should be fine, and mist regularly.
