Bought Myself A Community But Found A Suprise

I had been looking for Mourning Geckos (Lepidodactylus lugubris) for a while now and I finally found some at one of my local reptile shops. Because I'm such a regular customer, I got the 8x8x12 Exo Terra, three Mourning Geckos, and two other babies of other species for $60. The Mourning Geckos were originally priced at $24.99 each, so I got a deal. The trick is to be regular and to go in right before closing.

Anyway, I just need confirmation on my guesses so that I can get my community tank to be non-community.

So, the first one I noticed was this spotted little guy with a stubby tail. I know it's really hard to see in the photo, but I could only fit my iPhone in the cage without scaring this guy off. I think this guy is a house gecko. Perhaps a Mediterranean? I'm also assuming that all of these guys are wild caught, or close to and that they probably hail from Florida. So, do you think this guy is a Mediterranean house gecko (Hemidactylus turcicus)?

I suppose he could be the Asian house gecko (Hemidactylus frenatus) as well. How to tell the difference?

The second guy I think is a green anole. Or a brown one.

And then, just for fun, here is a photo of one of the Mourning Geckos.

Sorry about the big photos. I wanted them to be big so you guys can see as well as possible.

You are right, some hemidactylus, most likely turcicus and an Anolis carolinensis.

Best

BTW: Mourning geckos here go for like 5 to 10€ each.

I would break up that community. You seem right on your guesses. The anole looks a little on the thin side but the gecko looks good. Also, $25 in a retail setting sounds about right. I've seen up to $40 USD in those cases, but as cheap as $10 on forums.

I was planning on breaking up. I just don't know what to put them all in. I'm afraid that if I put them in too big of containers/cages, they'll never find food. Am I being paranoid?

I would consider 5 gallons or similar for the gecko and anole, keeping the mourning geckos in the exoterra. They should not have any issue finding food in those tanks.

Awesome! Thank you! It's just that they're so tiny that I almost feel they need to be kept in little jars so they don't starve. Lol. I don't worry about the Cuban anole as she's huge, but these guys are so tiny! Luckily I have to go find a cage for the dragonfly I found yesterday. I'm half tempted to keep the poor thing as it was on dying in the cold yesterday and today I discovered that it has only three full legs instead of six. The rest have broken. Poor little thing.
