Male or Female ?

Hi , my crested gecko is 17 grames so I need to know if it is male or female so I hope someone can tell me so thanks for your input .Here is a pic .

I'm having trouble magnifying the femoral region. When determining gender I find it helps to compare the scales on left and right hind leg to each other and evaluate for pores and the distribution of scales. This link may help your efforts. I find it an invaluable reference when sexing my little ones. A 40x lighted loupe with the gecko positioned against glass has given me the most advantageous views :shock:

Based on the distinct bulge at the base of his tail, I'd say male. Do you have a side shot of your gecko by any chance?
