Tokay gecko sexing

I believe my tokay is a sub-adult. I have a few photos and was wonder if this is a male or female? I don't trust myself with sexing tokays yet.

Yes, your juvenile Tokay may still be too young to be 100% positive. Animals under 7 months are still tough to correctly sex.

Both sexes have the dimples/pours but only males have the waxy extrusion coming out of the pours which I might have seen in the first photo, but it's not clear.

You can run your fingertip over the V going from the tail moving up toward the belly. If you feel any sticky stuff over the V, It's a male. If it's smooth, It's a female. This is all assuming it's older than about 8 months. First photo is a male, the second is a female.

Good luck and all the best,

Thank you c:

I'm not really able to feel the gecko as he/she is very aggressive. How long would a adult gecko of sexing age would be?
