So feeling horrible about a little juvinal I adopted here missing a tail stuck shed and sores on her head. She has stuck shed on head and all around its stump also sand in its stump were the tail dropped. It's eating normal and find shows no sign of being sick ATM however is there any thing I should be doing to help like a warm bath ect?

P.s it's in it's own home not with my other gecko

Glad to hear you are practicing quarantine and giving this gecko its own home!

For the stuck shed, I would advise giving the gecko a "sauna" once a day for about ten minutes and trying to work off the shed with a moist q-tip which may have to be repeated for a few days. For the sauna, get a small tupperware container with a few small holes poked in the top, and a layer of paper towels on the bottom, fill with warm water enough to cover the feet completely, and leave the gecko there for 10 minutes. For the shed on its head you can also try draping a paper towel or a cut out of a regular towel dampened over its head to help loosen that but they often aren't fans of this technique.

Are you currently keeping the gecko on sand? If so, would switch to paper towels.

No sand paper towl all the way... It also has a humid hid too (never had one in pet store) I'm just worried ill stress it out since it hasn't been home got more then 2 days. That being said the no feeding rule was thrown out the window due to no tail so as to say no stored fat ect.
