Well, all has been going great now for 2 weeks with my new baby/young leo. Habitat temps have been great and stable, eating ravenously and he/she is putting on weight, first shed went brilliantly, poop is normal, all couldn't be better. Now, I have yet to approach handling the animal. I've put my hand in of course to feed and have let him smell me ect. he's is not skittish as he comes right to the front of the viv to eat the moment he sees me. I should mention that I am not interested in over handling, or "playing" with my leo. I am into nurturing and observing the creature in it's natural (as natural as I can make it) environment. BUT, there will come a time where I'll have to handle him to clean the viv or assist with a shed ect. How do I go about doing it for the first time..or at least beginning the process.?
