I got my baby crestie the day after Christmas and he was in a shed. Now, today he is still shedding, and hasn't made much progress. But the thing that worries me the most is that today while I was looking him over, he had a "seizure" His legs stuck out and he was shaking with his mouth slightly opened. That lasted 5-10 seconds and then it stopped and he acted fine. PLEASE help I love my little buddy and I could not see him pass away this young.

Note: Since I got him he hasn't eaten very much at all. Maybe just a couple licks of a mashed banana with calcium supplements.

You've only had him a week. I would suggest that you slow down on handling, looking over, assist-feeding, or really ANY activity that is not necessary. It takes reptiles time to adjust to new homes and he is probably very stressed. I would leave him alone except feeding and misting for at least two weeks, then very slowly introduce things like handling.

I would also like to add that many people with their first baby gecko run into the same fears, questions, and concerns. You would probably feel more confident if you spent some time reading through prior posts in the crestie subforum.

That being said, if you are concerned for the health of your gecko, please get him to a vet. We can give some advice based on experience but are no substitute for qualified care.
