Pictus gecko shedding for first time - help??

I am a first time gecko owner, and my pictus gecko is shedding for the first time ... I have no idea what to do! I know that bathing your gecko helps them shed, but I was wondering if I need to do it right away or only if pieces are stuck. And are there any other things I can do to help? Should I just leave him be unless I notice stuck shed? I read that geckos can lose toes while shedding so I'm a little nervous. Thank you for any advice!

If pieces are stuck or he doesn't finish within a day then he might be having trouble. Otherwise just leave him to it, they know what they're doing. :) If you're worried you can mist the tank to raise the humidity a bit.

I have had one for 7 months and never seen my shed but I know they eat there skin as soon as it falls off so if it's gone it's eaten and healthy. And they do she'd in pieces but I haven't heard of them losing toes though I could be wrong and they can get stuck and it's more dangerous if it's stuck on the eyes so watch out and help it if it is. How old is it? That's all I have to say I have no experience in gecko shedding but I hope this helps.
