Very pleased to have found this web site! I have been active in herpetaculture for in excess than three decades. Currently I have a small collection consisting of 1.1 F-1 Crotalus lepidus klauberi "Snow Lake", 2.0 F-0 Coleonyx brevis personal find Webb Co. Texas, and awaiting delivery of 1.1 Eurydactylodus vieillardi (sep. bloodlines). I have a home in Puerto Ayacucho Amazonas Venezuela where I collect Gonatodes astralis, G. humilus (?), and Thecadactylus rapicaudas. I was collecting G. astralis years before it was a described species and assure all that the published photos of this species fall well short of the colors and beauty of this jewell of a Gecko! My other hobbies include Archaeology/Anthropology and I have spent many years living and working among the various Indigenous tribes of the northern Amazon region. I have worked as a specialty tour guide to the Venezuelan Amazon and have guided expeditions to remote tepuis, rivers, and to visit "primitive" tribes such as the Yanomami and the Guaro-Guaro (Hoti). I as well collect and maintain a collection of artifacts from ancient Texas Indians spanning the entire range of Early Paleolithic through Historic for this region. I look forward to participating and exchanging information and ideas with the members of Geckos Unlimited. ---Manapiare
