Humidity Issues in the Summer

This post is a few months early but I'm starting to wonder what will happen when the summer rolls around. It gets very humid where I live...90-100% I'd say is normal in the hazy months.

I'm just wondering how I can keep the humidity down for my Leos?

I put on the AC when I come home from work and that will generally keep things cool and dry....but what about when I'm at work?

Any one have to deal with these sort of issues?

Hi,

What is the humidity inside the actual enclosure during the day? Are you using a reliable hygrometer? What is the room temperature during the day?

I don't really have the answers yet.

Right now my apartment stays around 70, but it's Winter time. The Humidity gauge I have seems very reliable because whenever the windows are closed and the heat it on, it dips down to 0-10%. With the windows open it's around 30-50% humidity.

I would expect my apartment to get around 75-80 Degrees in the Summer while I'm at work, and since it's so hot I leave the window cracked, so I'm sure the humidity will go to 90-100%.

This is where I would imagine I could have problems.

When I come home from work I'll put the AC on during those hots days and reduce humidity, but when I'm at work I won't be running the AC.
