My chewie laid 3 eggs!

Well like the title says my chewie laid 3 eggs. I was very worried about her as she was gravid for long time, way longer than 60 days, however she was acting normal, if I was judging her by her behavior you wouldn't even know anything was even wrong other than she was quite large. So eventually it got to the point in which I was getting more and more worried, so I separated her from her mate ( they have been together everyday since 2005), and I separated her from the rest of the colony to eliminate any distractions. And I figured I would give her one more week then she was going to the vet. Well after 2 days, on SApril 13, she laid the eggs. At first I didn't see the third egg but I saw yolk and was like that sucks that one broke. But as it turns out she laid 3 eggs and Im assuming that the one popped on the way out cause I got to them pretty quickly as the eggs were still a little soft. Now correct me if Im wrong but I have never heard of this occurring in this species and their related species. I do know of an occurrence where a U.henkeli laid 4 intact eggs a long time ago but that's it. So now the only thing that worried me is if there are anymore eggs in there.

The answer is simple: try to feel if there is another egg in her belly. Always supply calcium to her food and monitor her behaviour.

Important question: Do you have a moist hide (with coco fiber or what) so she can lay the eggs?

You need to clean the enclosure, btw.

The enclosure wasn't cleaned because I was trying not to disturb her as I thought she was egg bound, like I said in the original thread she was isolated from the colony and kept somewhere quite in case she wasn't laying cause of all the disturbance, she has an egg box but none of my chewies have ever used one but they are always present. I have felt her stomach and have felt nothing but that doesn't mean there could be one that is not calcified or worse popped which will poison her. Also you feeling doesn't always work as there is always the human element factor where nobody is perfect and may have missed it.
