Hi ^^ I'm Darien. I have come here looking for a friendly forum experience, and hopefully I can make some friends here in the reptile community. I am the owner of Nynecho's Geckos, and I breed leopard geckos.
I have just gotten started this season, and don't exactly have everything set in stone yet.
I'm starting out with a few geckos from pet stores, a few from breeders, and a few from my local reptile store, ShedSkin Reptiles.
I would appreciate not being discriminated against because of my small budget and choice of breeders, because I am only still a teenager and can't exactly afford fancy, thoroughbred geckos or high-end rack systems yet. I take good care of my geckos and love every one of them, and that's really all that matters to me.
I am open to working with other gecko species in the future, but for right now I only have the time for leopards. Right now I have a steady population of 12, more females than males, and I am constantly rescuing and re-homing them. I am not opposed to buying from a big name pet store if it means saving an animals life. So far I have re-homed 9 geckos that I've either rescued or produced with my breeders. I'm not particularly in it for the profit, but they are my main source of income.
I've got three projects that I'm working on currently, a Super Tang project, and Mack Raptor project, and a Blizzard project that I won't be able to start until the females are healthy and the male is of weight.
