The beginnings of a hunger strike?

I've had my 1 year old leo for about 6 days. We've gone through three feedings so far, two successful and one not at all. She had been eating crickets, and doing pretty well with them. After reading about them biting her if they are kept in there too long, I switched her to Dubia Roaches for her most resent feeding...and this morning found her literally curled up sleeping with them. Am I looking at the beginnings of a hunger strike, or is it normal for a leo to actually love her food?
It's possible she's also prepping for a shed. She's been spending a lot of time in her moist hide and has suddenly started flinching away from us petting her. Do leos usually stop eating right before a shed??

Thanks in advance!!

You should not leave any feeders in the enclosure overnight.

Exception being mealworms in a dish they cannot crawl out of.
